Course Description: Behaviors are often the greatest challenge and source of frustration for therapists and teachers who work with children living with autism. The opportunity for these kids to learn and grow is limited by their own behaviors and our ability to help manage them, which is critical to their success. This course teaches therapists and teachers effective strategies to manage behaviors and promote greater success in everyday activities by helping each child "Find the Zone," an innovative program developed over 15 years of clinical experience and research. This intermediate level course is appropriate for occupational, physical, and speech therapists as well as teachers who work with children with autism.
Audience: OT, COTA, Special Ed Teacher/Classroom Teachers, ST, PT, PTA
